Magid El Qassaby, Saudi designate Minister of Information, said that health authorities will vaccinate all population and foreign residents in the kingdom against the Coronavirus ( known also as COVID-19) by the end of the standing year according to the plan adopted by the Saudi Ministry of Health.

It is worth noting that the  Saudi Ministry of Health announced yesterday, Wednesday, registering six deaths of the Coronavirus so the toll of death hit 6669 cases.

The ministry released a statement that says that 585 new infections with the deadly virus were registered in the kingdom within the last 24 hours to increase the total infections to 390 thousand confirmed cases.

However, the ministry revealed that 378 thousand people have recovered from the COVID-D-19.

The health Saudi authorities have distributed 4 million doses of the vaccine within a short period since the arrival of the first shipments to the kingdom.

On the other hand,  Magid Al-Qassaby denied that the Saudi government sought to introduce fees to education and public sectors.

He affirmed the Saudi state commits to its obligations to offer basic services freely.

The minister indicated that improving services is the aim of privatization of some public companies.

He revealed that Saudi products are traded in 178 countries around the world.

The Haramain high-speed railway (HHR) resumed its operation on Wednesday more than a year after it suspended services due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the Kingdom.

The operation of the HHR, which links four major cities in western Saudi Arabia, was suspended on March 21, 2020, as part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, who is also an adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, flagged off the train at the King Abdulaziz International Airport station in Jeddah, while Madinah Governor Prince Faisal Bin Salman witnessed the resumption of the operation in Madinah, according to the Saudi Gazette.

Prince Faisal Bin Salman stressed the importance of the commitment of government agencies in the region to follow up the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, stressing the need for everyone to feel the importance of the current stage in confronting the pandemic in order to ensure the safety of citizens, residents, as well as pilgrims and visitors of the holy place.
